GRADES 1 - 6:
​ACA’s Elementary division offers a Christ-centered discipleship program that invests in the hearts, souls and minds of students.  Our vision is to equip and disciple generations for Christ. Our focus is on a strong Christian education.  Christian values underpin our entire program, and it is our primary desire to help students and even parents to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Our Bible program is first-rate, combining excellent teaching in doctrine with the central stories of our faith.  Our Bible memory program is outstanding, giving every student the opportunity to store God’s Word in their hearts.   We consistently devote time every day in every grade to teaching the Bible and to prayer.

Each child is a special gift from God.  Our teachers work to maximize the potential found in each child.  To do that, we provide a safe and caring environment that promotes a healthy learning experience.   We build relationships with each child, developing a solid foundation of literacy, and numeracy, as well as give them opportunities to share their talents with others.  We desire that students will know Jesus, and have a Christian world-view that underpins every aspect of their lives. Coupled with this, we strive to provide an excellent quality education for our students where they consistently score well on the Provincial Achievement Tests.

  • ACA supports students in discovering their God-given talents. They have the opportunity to explore their interests in a variety of ways, from arts to athletics to leadership.

  • Weekly chapels allow our students to participate in and lead worship.  

  • All students in Grades 1-6 participate in our annual Fine Arts presentation, which incorporates both drama and music.

  • Our physical education program and intramurals allow students to build their confidence and teach fundamental skills in sport and fitness that inspire life-long activity. Instructors focus on the development of Christ-like character and team building skills while encouraging the pursuit of fun and excellence in sport.
  • Special prayer groups allow students to live out their faith in practical ways.

  • Chess club gives students an opportunity to develop high level analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Skating opportunities are available for students in the early grades

​​We believe in participating in the community, engaging in projects such as helping with the food bank, and sponsoring children, as part of advancing God’s kingdom, by sharing our time and efforts with people around us, both locally and internationally.
