ACA PROGRAM
ACA is pleased to introduce our International Student program! By actively demonstrating compassion, kindness, respect and understanding, we strive to help all students achieve their full potential - both spiritually and academically.
With our modern facility, we can offer a range of academic, fine art, athletic, leadership and extracurricular programs in an environment conducive for learning. Our graduates earn the Alberta High School Diploma, which is recognized by universities, technical institutes and colleges in Canada, the United States and around the world. Our current student body is comprised of students from several different cultural backgrounds and we welcome international students to join our High School program. Students applying to ACA must have the ability to read and speak in English at a high school level. Students who do not meet this requirement may need to upgrade their English speaking abilities before enrolling at the school. |

Susan Sule
Homestay Coordinator
Leaving home for the first time can be quite the adventure, but also an overwhelming experience. This experience is not foreign to Susan Sule. Born in Canada and raised in Nigeria, she returned to Canada as a young adult to further her studies. She has experienced first hand the realialities of settling in a new country and the culture shock that is involved with acclimatizing to a new environment.
Susan resides in Airdrie with her family. Her three children currently attend ACA, where she has worked as the office assistant since 2012. Like all staff at ACA, Susan is passionate about education and training students to know, love and serve Christ. She encourages students to take advantage of all that ACA has to offer, in order to prepare them to ‘take on the world’ and be leaders and disciples for Christ.
Susan is excited about the international student program and the opportunity to help international students find suitable homestay arrangements to ensure both the host family and international student find the homestay experience rewarding.

STUDENT LIFE
Testimonials
The "ACA Family" inclusively consists of students, staff, parents and alumni. All high school students choose to be at ACA by signing a student pledge indicating their intention to make Jesus Christ Lord over their lives. Our staff are born again Christians who embrace our statement of faith, living out biblical truths by their daily walk with God and striving to set an example of spiritual excellence for the student body . The importance of faith in both staff and students creates a warm, friendly, and passionate community of leaders and learners.
Through various school activities, staff and students work together to balance academics with our goal to train students to know love and serve Christ. Students are encouraged to step into leadership opportunities through student council activities, sports programs and our missions trips. Actively building school community, student council plans events throughout the school year by organizing hot lunches and fun activities such as Wacky Hair Day, International Day and Carnival. Our sports program provides the opportunity for students to develop their athletic abilities and compete in sports of their choice. Just as important, our athletic programs also include an emphasis on character traits such as sportsmanship, perseverance and the ability to encourage one another. Through our missions outreach, students have the opportunity to serve others and be a part of something bigger than themselves as they serve the community at large both domestically and internationally. We believe in the importance of a strong Christian education. However, we believe that a complete experience is equally important as we create an atmosphere that is fun and genuine for the ACA Family as a whole. |

International Tuition / Fees
Most courses offered run on a semester base; however, there are a few year long courses offered throughout the school year. Due to this, it is beneficial for students to enroll for a full year in order to enjoy the full value of the program. However, students are welcome to enroll for a portion of the school year if they choose to. Should students decide to stay for a portion of the school year; fees will be prorated based on the agreed duration, at the time of enrollment. All fees and additional costs are due before the student’s arrival.
2024-25 School Year Tuition
Additional fees may include more than just miscellaneous expenses, such as extracurricular sports fees, gym wear, exam fees (primarily for Grade 12 students), custodianship declaration notarization fees, or pocket money. All other fees are an additional expense to the student.

Payment is done through Flywire during the application process. |
